We have an art department dedicated to preserving the integrity of your logo. Artwork is only as good as what you provide. We use IBM compatible PC systems, however we can usually read MAC files if they are saved as an EPS outlined vector file.
Simply because the art file is an EPS or TIFF format does not mean it will be clean and useable. Please do not submit web graphics as they are produced in a resolution setting (generally 72 dpi) that is too low.
Submit Art to this email address: info@mdrpromotions.com or we accept writable CD’s, flash drives and email.
PREFERRED PROGRAM
PC or MAC format Adobe Illustrator version CS3 or lower (outlined vector art saved as an EPS file). Save graphics as Adobe Illustrator (filename.ai or filename.eps). Remember to convert text to paths. Please be aware that once this is done the text in your artwork can no longer be edited. If editing is required you must include the Font with the file. EVEN THOUGH WE HAVE THOUSANDS OF FONTS, WE DO NOT HAVE THEM ALL.
Another Accepted Program (but not preferred)
CorelDraw (the following conditions must be met): Remember to convert text to curves PLUS Please EXPORT your file as a WINDOW METAFILE type BEFORE emailing the artwork.
Usually UNACCEPTABLE Programs
Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Publisher, or Corel Word Perfect.
PHOTOGRAPHS
If you are using a photograph on your promotional products, the image should be to size or larger and resolution should be a minimum of 300 dpi for best reproduction. We prefer TIFF files but will take JPEG’s.
If you cannot meet the above requirements send over whatever you have and we will evaluate it and let you know what needs to be done. For a simple logo we might be able to recreate it quickly for little or no charge. However, if your artwork is complex or we have difficulty reproducing it, we may have to charge you a small art charge based on the time spent working on it. We charge $30.00 per hour and will be glad to send you the new art for future use.
